Pipe Layer/Laborer

CBC Site Development is seeking Heavy Equipment Operators for several ongoing projects that require mass earthwork, rough & fine grading, and utility work including water, sanitary sewer, and storm lines. Operators with experience on excavators, dozers, front-end loaders, skid steers, articulated dump trucks, and roller operators are encouraged to apply.

Daily Duties and Responsibilities:

-Install various types of pipe, making connections in ditch- sewer, water, and storm

-Daily material prep, stringing out pipes and staging other materials

-Operating wheel loader, loading stone box, moving various types of pipe

-Hooking up pipes with different types of hook

-Effectively communicate daily tasks and plans with foreman

-Maintain basic machine maintenance (greasing, fueling, air filters, checking oils, and cab cleaning).

Experience, Knowledge, and Requirements:

-Safely and effectively work with various hand and power tools- ex. demo saw, circular saw, hammer drill, pipe beveler

-Basic understanding of a pipe laying operation

-Ability to do physical tasks; rigging, standing, bending / crouching for periods of time.

-Reliable transportation.

-Attendance and schedule maintainability.

**PAY DISCUSSED UPON HIRE. BASED ON HEAVY EQUIPMENT EXPERIENCE / ABILITY**
