Responsibilities
- Lay and install pipes according to blueprints, specifications, and project requirements.
- Excavate trenches to the required depth and width for proper pipe placement.
- Ensure pipes are laid at the correct grade and alignment to facilitate proper flow and drainage.
- Install pipe joints, couplings, and connections, ensuring secure and leak-free connections.
- Properly backfill trenches, compacting soil to prevent settling and ensuring stability.
- Handle and transport pipes and related materials safely and efficiently.
- Operate heavy machinery, such as excavators and backhoes, to assist in trenching and pipe installation.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines, ensuring a safe working environment for oneself and the team.
- Work closely with other construction team members, including plumbers, excavators, and supervisors, to coordinate and complete projects.
- Interpret and follow construction blueprints and specifications to ensure accurate pipe placement.
- Conduct inspections to verify that pipes are installed correctly, ensuring compliance with quality standards and project specifications.
- Perform repairs or replacements of damaged or faulty pipes as needed.
- Maintain an organized inventory of pipes, fittings, and related materials, ensuring an adequate supply for ongoing projects.

Job requirements
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in stormwater, sewer, and water main installation, repair, and maintenance.
- In-depth knowledge of stormwater management systems, sewer operations, and water main infrastructure, demonstrating expertise in all three areas
- Proven ability to install, repair, and maintain stormwater, sewer, and water main systems with a focus on quality workmanship and adherence to industry standards
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record -Required
- Must be able to pass a background check -Required
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
