Henry Mayo Fitness & Health is seeking dynamic, experienced, and highly motivated Pilates instructors to join our team. As a Pilates Instructors at HMFH you’ll be responsible for conducting effective classes as well as informing current members and residents on the benefits of regular exercise. Successful candidates will be able to teach group, reformer and mat classes.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Must have completed a comprehensive teacher training program
- Experience teaching clients with a wide-range of needs and goals, ranging from pre- and post-surgery, athletic cross-training, chronic conditions/pain, and working around injuries
- Candidate must be comfortable teaching multi-level group classes
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe classroom
- Fostering a welcoming, supportive, and encouraging class environment
- Being present to and accommodating for any modifications, adjustments, cues, or omissions clients may need during their class
QUALIFICATIONS
- Teaching: 2+ years (Preferred)
- Morning Classes (Preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
- Late Afternoon (Preferred)
- Group fitness: 1 year (Preferred)
WORKING CONDITIONS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; kneel; use hands to handle; and talk or hear. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
An essential function of the job is to be able to comply with all applicable federal, state, and local safety health regulations that apply to this job.
SCHEDULE – Minimum 2 classes per week to start.
