About the role:
The Picker Packer will assist in preparing orders for shipping. This position will utilize pick slips to select and pack products. The Picker Packer is an important part of the Jack Richeson and Company team as they help to ensure the company meets specifics of customer orders in a timely manner.

What you will be doing:
- Ensure work areas are kept clean, neat, and well organized.
- Pick, inspect, and pack products according to the pick slip.
- Prepare and process less-than truckload (LTL) or ground shipments and orders.
- Ensure correct shipping information is attached and pallets are properly prepared for shipping.
What you need:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- Prior warehouse experience (preferred)
- Demonstrated problem solving skills and the ability to implement solutions quickly
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Capable of multi-tasking
- Extremely organized, flexible, and able to work in a fast-paced environment with tight production timelines
- Must be thorough with a strong sense of attention to detail
- Friendly, engaging, and professional demeanor
- Demonstrated ability to understand and follow written and verbal communication
- Must be resourceful and initiative-taking
- Self-motivated and driven individual
- The determination to work harder than anyone you know
- Ability to read a tape measure and measure to the exact, specific measurement consistently
- Ability to understand basic mathematics, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in all units of measure, including whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to repetitively lift materials 25 lbs. regularly, up to 50 lbs. frequently, and up to 100 lbs. occasionally
- Ability to grip and grasp
- Ability to stand up to ten (10) hours a day
- Ability to turn and twist wrist and hands
