ResponsibilitiesAscension Saint Agnes is looking for a Physician Assistant for our Critical Care Department.
This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to partner with Ascension Ascension Saint Agnes to provide medical services to patients.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive health care services under the supervision
of a physician.
- Obtain patient history and perform assessment.
- Order, perform and interpret diagnostic procedures.
- Provide and document direct treatment and management of health conditions.
- Provide counseling and education of patient and their families/caregivers concerning preventative health, treatment options and community resources.
- Perform preventative health assessments, screening, immunizations and care.
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
Required Credential(s):
- BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Verified by local Credentialing Office
- Physician Assistant credentialed from the Maryland Board of Physicians obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Verified by local Credentialing Office
Preferred Credential(s):
- Advanced Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA).Verified by local Credentialing Office
- Orthopedic Physician Assistant. Verified by local Credentialing Office
Education:
- Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Master's degree preferred.
Work Experience:
- 1 year of experience preferred.
