Job Description
Duties:
- Perform comprehensive physical examinations and assessments of patients age 0 to 21
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and conditions
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as laboratory work and imaging studies
- Develop and implement treatment plans, including prescribing medications and therapies
- Facilitate patient referrals as needed
- Provide patient education and counseling on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using electronic health record systems (AdvancedMD)
- Complete all charting in a timely manner
- Perform minor procedures such as suture/staple removals, chemical cauterization, cryotherapy, etc (on-the-job training available)
Skills:
- Experience in a pediatric setting
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-based environment
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to provide high-quality patient care
- Attention to detail to ensure accurate documentation and administration of vaccines and medications
- Strong organization skills to ensure comprehensive documentation and coding of all medical visits
- Ability to work efficiently to manage patient flow, clinical duties, and timely completion of EHR documentation

Job Type: Part-time
Salary: $50.00 - $70.00 per hour

- Pediatrics: at least 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Certified Nurse Practitioner, PA-C, or Physician Assistant License (Required)
