The Physician provides quality patient care in a clinical setting. The Physician also assists management in developing policies and procedures relating to patient needs.
Job Description:
Responsible to diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic kidney problems and diseases. Treat associated issues like high blood pressure, fluid retention, and electrolyte and mineral imbalances. Manage kidney dialysis treatment - both hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis - and kidney transplants and their follow-up care. Consult with patients to determine the appropriate course of treatment. Recommend and order tests to determine extent of illness or help diagnose condition. Document and code office visits and hospital procedures for billing and complete medical documentation for patient charts

- Requires Doctor of Medicine (M.D) or foreign educational equivalent. Must have valid Physician License in the State of Michigan. Must be BE/BC in Nephrology.
