MAIN FUNCTION: Provides support in all office activities; provides clerical support; processes all insurance and private billing and serves as office receptionist. Maintains responsibility for attendance/reliability to ensure that the office is operated in an efficient and cost effective manner. Contributes to the mission of the organization by supporting the employee philosophy, Planetree model of care and organizational goals.
EDUCATION: High School diploma required; some college preferred.
EXPERIENCE: Two years in a medical office environment including a working knowledge of medical terminology, billing/bookkeeping, insurance plans.
