Physician Assistant (PA) Neurology

Job Responsibilities:

• Work collaboratively with supervising physician
• Treat neurology patients, adults only
• No surgery
• Medical services rendered by Physician Assistants may include obtaining patient histories and performing physical examinations; writing progress notes, procedure notes and monthly care plans, ordering and/or performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures; formulating a diagnosis; developing and implementing a treatment plan; monitoring the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions; offering counseling and education; making appropriate referrals

Job Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree required
• Master's degree preferred
• Graduate of an accredited Physician’s Assistant program
• Registered as a Physician’s Assistant in New York State
• NCCPA certified
