Nutmeg Healthcare Recruiters is conducting a confidential search for several Physician Assistantsor Nurse Practitioners to join our client's growing team!These full-time positions are at a comprehensive cancer center in McAllen, Texas.
- F/T, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 5 pm
- NO weekends, call, or major holidays
NB. This position is open to both NEW GRADUATES and experienced PAs or NPs.

What Will You Do In The Role?
- Provide direct diagnostic and therapeutic patient care in collaboration with practice physicians.
- Deliver quality of patient care and patient outcomes throughout the care continuum.
- Supporting and adhering to our client's Compliance Program, including the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.
- Provide direct care and management in the outpatient setting to include documentation of visits, patient and family education, order and review diagnostic studies, prescribe medications, management of symptoms, counseling and support, collaboration with and referrals to other health care providers, and provision of education to staff, students, and the community.
- Participate within an interdependent practice with collaborative physician(s) and team.
- Maintain electronic health records in care delivery, including ensuring complete documentation per our client's policy and guidelines.
- Help foster strong collaborative relationships across the organization and the local medical community.
- Perform diagnostic/therapeutic procedures as appropriate.
- Participate in tumor board, institutional trainings, and meetings as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What Qualifications Should You Possess To Be Considered A Competitive Candidate For This Role?
If you are a Nurse Practitioner, you'll need:
- Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited nursing school and successful completion of a Nurse Practitioner program.
- RN state licensure and current registration with the State Board of Nursing in practicing state.
- Current state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner.
- Current basic life support (BLS)/CPR certification required.
If you are a Physician Assistant, you'll need:
- Successful completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Current NCCPA (National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants) certification.
- Current state license as a Physician Assistant in practicing state.
- Current basic life support (BLS)/CPR certification required.
