Summary:
The Physical Therapy Assistant treats patients who are experiencingrehabilitation diagnosis or conditions requiring rehabilitation. Assist inpatient care to assess their medical condition, functional capabilities andlimitations and restrictions and potential for rehabilitation. Administer atreatment program with specific goals determined according to the patients'capacity and tolerance under the direction of the Physician and PhysicalTherapist. Educate patients and families in appropriate Physical Therapymethods. Inpatient rehabilitation experience desired.
Qualifications:
- Currentstate licensure as Physical Therapist Assistant
- BasicLife Support (BLS) certification must be obtained from the American HeartAssociation and/or American Red Cross
