Pay Rate: $23-$27/hr

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team in Poughkeepsie, NY. If you are a qualified individual with a passion for assisting patients in their rehabilitation journey, we want to hear from you.

Physical Therapy Assistant Requirements:

• Graduate from an accredited physical therapist assistant program.
• 1-2 years of PTA experience in long-term care, post-acute, hospital, home care, or a similar setting (preferred).
• Must be licensed in the state of New York as a PTA.
• Must have BLS CPR certification or be willing to obtain it.

Physical Therapy Assistant Job Duties:

• Assist in implementing Physical Therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
• Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care to patients.
• Monitor and document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises and activities.
• Ensure adherence to all relevant regulations and guidelines.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
