We are seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant/Aide to join our team! You will plan physical rehabilitative programs to improve patient quality of life.
Responsibilities:
- Answer phones, electronic scheduling/ Posting, verify insurance benefits, collect copay, faxing/filling
- Clean and organize work area and disinfect equipment after treatment
- Instruct, motivate, safeguard, or assist patients practicing exercises or functional activities, under the direction of therapy staff
- Change linens, such as bedsheets and pillowcases
- Secure patients into or onto therapy equipment
- Team player attitude, energetic, excellent customer service.
- Observe patients during treatment to compile and evaluate data on patients' responses
- Develop and implement physical therapy programs that focus on rehabilitation
- Work directly with patients to achieve maximum physical recovery
- Evaluate effects of therapy treatment and communicate patients' progress
- Record and document patient care services
- Collaborate with other team personnel to achieve well-rounded care
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in physical therapy, rehabilitation, or other related fields
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong leadership qualities
The pay rate will be $13-15/hour depending on experience.
