Position:Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)

Job Summary: As a Physical Therapy Assistant at Venza Care, you will be an integral part of our rehabilitation team, providing hands-on assistance to patients, and supporting the delivery of Physical Therapy services under the direction and supervision of our licensed Physical Therapists.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist Physical Therapists in the implementation of patient treatment plans.
• Perform therapeutic interventions as directed, ensuring patient safety and effectiveness of treatment.
• Monitor patient responses to therapy and communicate observations to the supervising therapist.
• Educate and guide patients on exercise routines and use of equipment.
• Maintain treatment area and equipment, adhering to cleanliness and safety standards.
• Document patient progress and assist with administrative tasks related to patient care.

Qualifications:

• An associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Current PTA license or certification as per state regulations.
• Prior experience in a Physical Therapy setting is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a dynamic healthcare team.
