Physical Therapy Aide/Receptionist

Languages:

High Five Physical Therapy is looking for a Physical Therapy Aide to join our team. This person will assist Doctor of Physical Therapy with patient care, equipment care, maintenance of clean work areas and maintenance of departmental supplies. Oversees patient flow within High Five Physical Therapy and helps insure an effective, efficient, and friendly environment for internal and external customers.

Education:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED).
• Medical Assistant or Medical Administrative Assistant.

Skills:

• Understanding of Word, Excel, and Adobe
• Use of Scanner, Fax & Copy Machine
• Answering Telephones
• Communication, Organizational and Interpersonal Skills
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology

Languages:

• Full command in English (required)
• Conversational Spanish (preferred)

Essential Duties:

• Physical Therapy technician under the direction of a DPT and backup for Front Desk.
• Performs sanitization of equipment and maintenance of treatment areas right after each after patient leaves.
• Greets and exhibits good guest relations to patients, visitors, and co-workers per departmental guidelines.
• Use of modalities under the direction of the DPT: ultrasound, cold laser, cupping, E-Stim.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 34 – 42 per week
