Physical Therapy Aide

We are a growing Physical Therapy and occupational practice seeking a part-time Rehabilitation Aide for our Chesterfield MO location. We pride ourselves on excellent patient care and service.

Job Summary

The Rehabilitation Aide will provide support to physical therapists and facility clinical team which includes keeping treatment areas clean, maintaining equipment, maintaining supplies, and providing support to the front office and clinic and excellent customer service.

Job Requirements

· Assist front office with patient scheduling, verify insurances, scan documents into the medical record and answering phones when needed.

· Frequently checks supply cabinets and closets to ensure adequate treatment supplies and front office supplies are readily available.

· Engages patients in appropriate conversations and provides excellent customer service.

· Stocks treatment tables and modality carts with appropriate linen and supplies.

· Maintains weights and other equipment and ensures all equipment is returned to proper areas after use.

· Keeps gym area, waiting room, treatment rooms and restrooms organized and clear of clutter. Spot mopping, sweeping and vacuuming may be required to support housekeeping staff.

· Cleans and sanitizes all treatment surfaces in between patient use. This includes any equipment that may have been used during the treatment. Frequently during daily operation, the entire clinic's surfaces require cleaning and sanitizing common areas such as doors, counter tops, bathrooms and seating areas.

· Collect dirty laundry and wash, dry and fold all linens and replenish them in appropriate treatment rooms and cabinets.

· Refers all medical questions to treating clinician.
