Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Physical Therapy Aide at our facility you willfind out what it truly means to be a part of a collaborative team where diversity and inclusion thrive. In this role, under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist:

You will assist with restoration of patient functioning to prevent disability following injury, disease or physical disability.

You will administer modality treatments such as hot packs or ice packs.

You will inform the supervisor/director when supplies are low and need to be ordered to keep adequate supplies and equipment on hand.

You will straighten up and clean equipment and items in the treatment room and gym area throughout your shift, making sure all equipment is clean and in proper storage areas.

You will perform clerical duties and assist with posting of patient charges in the computer order entry system.

 

Qualifications:

American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support

Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification

Past experience with patient care in an acute-care setting is not required but preferred.
