Physical Therapy Aide

Seeking Physical Therapy Aide or Occupation Therapy Aide to treat patients at a vestibular rehabilitation therapy clinic

-Part time position with full day hours (Thursdays and Fridays from 9-5pm)

-Opportunity for more work hours

Description:

-Guide patients through several vestibular rehabilitation exercises (this includes gait, gaze stability, and balance).

-Will administer balance exercises to patients using our interactive software and balance board called FallTrak.

-Videonystagmography testing (VNG) on patients. Will need to administer a test for concussion on patients using the VNG machine.

Experience:
- Previous experience working as a Physical Therapy Aide or in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Familiarity with acute care settings, such as hospitals or rehabilitation centers
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to provide excellent patient service
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
