Responsibilities:

· The Physical Therapist will be responsible for providing direct services to clients, and providing feedback to families and other team members.

• Conducting assessments of clients and developing and following treatment plans.
• Assessing home and school environments of clients and deciding what adjustments are needed.
• Advising on adaptive equipment to help clients with daily activities.
• Educating caregivers and family members of clients on patient care.
• Evaluating results and progress of physical therapy on clients.
• Maintaining professional knowledge and the technical progress in order to provide clients and families with the best treatment program available.

Qualifications:

· A Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree from a Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education Program.

· Certified by the National Board for Certification.

· Compliant with state healthcare regulatory requirements.

· Possess up to date knowledge of treatment practices and physical therapy programs.
