Position Duties
- Evaluate residents upon physician order for skilled physical therapy intervention
- Provide skilled physical therapy intervention as described in the physical therapy treatment plan
- Serve as a consultant for ILC on relevant issues, such as transfer techniques, body mechanics, and injury prevention
- Work and coordinate with all team members to meet guests' needs
- Train staff members in specific techniques related to each resident's individual needs in areas such as positioning, transfers, and ambulation
- Work and coordinate with all team members to meet guests' needs
- Provide in-service education to the ILC Rehabilitation staff, as well as throughout ILC as needed
- Serve as an integral part of the interdisciplinary treatment team, facilitating a unified approach to guest treatment
- Attend care conferences as needed to assist in developing and revising resident care plans
- Ability to work different shifts, including weekends, to provide optimal resident care
- Develop restorative programs and train restorative aides to carry out these programs

- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
Education and Experience
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
- Licensure as an Physical Therapist in the State of Montana
