Licensed to practice as a Physical Therapist in Arizona
Minimum of two years P.T. experience; preferably in area of Pediatrics.

Job Goal
To develop strength, skill, agility, poise and coordination in individual students in need of physical and/or occupational therapy.
Essential Duties
Provides appropriate individualized programs of physical and/or therapy to meet student's needs.
Assists in screening, evaluating, and recommending placement of student in the special education program.
Works cooperatively with school staff interpreting the physical abilities and disabilities of the students and may assists the student with direct physical education.
Works cooperatively with special education director and school psychologist in matters concerning the physical abilities and disabilities of students.
Collaborates with classroom teachers and other school staff members to implement therapy and suggestions for the student's daily activities.
Assumes responsibility of planning, developing, and implementing, and evaluating programs and services to meet the needs of students who are physically handicapped or may need therapy as a related service.
Maintains student records and all other records pertinent to the special education program for state regulations that relate to the physical therapy program with complete confidentiality.
Assumes primary responsibility for ordering and maintaining needed equipment and supplies.
Performs other related tasks as may be assigned by the supervisor.
