Summary
This position is located at the Woodrow Wilson Keeble Memorial Health Care Center in Sisseton, SD. The purpose of this position is to provide physical therapy services, consultation, and education within the service unit.

Duties
- Provides physical therapy in the areas of physical disabilities, neuro-muscular and psychosocial dysfunction to patients ranging from the new born to the very elderly.
- Develops treatment plans based on general information in consult and taking into consideration patients' physical and mental conditions, cooperation and various psychological factors.
- Evaluates and develops treatment plans for patients referred to the department by physicians, exercising independent professional judgment in planning and carrying out a treatment program to meet the patient's needs.
- Must be aware of potential hazards and problems inherent in any treatment program, so as to prevent occurrence of any harm to the patient
- Reviews literature and prepare educational correspondence which may be utilized by the professional staff within the service unit.
