Minimum 1+ years physical therapy experience required.

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Physical Therapist to join our school-based healthcare team. As a School-Based Physical Therapist, you will work collaboratively with students, parents, teachers, and other professionals to provide physical therapy services to students with diverse needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to determine students' physical therapy needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide direct physical therapy services to students in accordance with their IEP goals and objectives.
  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions and techniques to enhance students' motor skills, balance, coordination, strength, and mobility.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other school personnel to ensure integration of therapy goals into the educational setting.
  • Monitor students' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of evaluations, treatment sessions, progress reports, and other required paperwork.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of students' IEPs.
  • municate effectively with parents/guardians to discuss students' progress, remendations, and home-based activities.
  • Stay informed about current research, trends, and best practices in school-based physical therapy.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist.
  • Prior experience working with pediatric populations is preferred.
  • Knowledge of IDEA regulations and the special education process is a plus.
  • Excellent munication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
