Join the Eyas Landing team as we grow our Merlin Day Academy program! Merlin Day Academy is Eyas Landing's newest innovative program designed to provide education and therapeutic intervention.  

We are seeking a Licensed Physical Therapist (PT ) to join our physical therapy team of top pediatric specialists for a full-time caseload. Ideal Physical Therapist (PT) candidates should be interested in developing their physical therapy clinical skills using evidence-based, pediatric therapy practice in a multi-disciplinary, collaborative setting through one-on-one and group sessions with children and adolescents. 

Physical Therapist - PT - Responsibilities:: No Treatment after 4pm!

• Maintains a physical therapy caseload of individual therapy sessions, group therapy sessions, and daily case management tasks
• Completes daily treatment notes, daily data input and analysis, initial and annual evaluations, plan of care goals and other documentation as needed.   
• Participates in on-going collaboration with the client's team and family including weekly emails, phone calls and in person discussions. 
• Establishes and maintains relationships with clients and families by providing parent education, home programs, and parent support as needed. 
• Collaborate with the physical therapy team to learn from one another.  
• Participate in all required company orientation, professional development days and ongoing trainings to enhance your professional goals as Physical Therapist.

Physical Therapist (PT) Education Requirements:

• Licensed Physical Therapist PT
• Experience working with neurodivergent children

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The working environment may at times be busy with small groups of children and individual sessions with children while other clients/therapists are present. Physical requirements include:

• Ability to lift at least 35 lbs, including but not limited to lifting children, therapy equipment etc.
• Ability to walk and/or run if needed to keep clients safe.
• Ability to implement behavior management techniques, based on training provided by the company.
• Ability to use hands and arms to prepare and perform required therapy tasks.
• Ability to utilize keyboard, desktop, and ipad to complete documentation required for funders.

Eyas Landing is an outpatient, multidisciplinary pediatric therapy clinic. Our Merlin Day Academy program provides students with autism, ADHD, sensory processing disorder, and other neuro-diverse learning needs ages 6 to 14 an intensive, individualized educational environment that cultivates relationship-based, family-centered care to strengthen educational and functional skills for students to become active, successful participants in their community. Our collaborative team of therapists and educators provide special education and occupational therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), developmental therapy, physical therapy, speech therapy, language therapy, nutrition, and feeding therapy services.

We're expanding in West Loop and our brand-new facility in Avondale, and our sister companies (Eyas Landing & Blue Bird Day Program) support families in West Loop, Northcenter, and Wheaton.
