They are currently seeking a highly experienced and visionary Flight Coordinator Associate in Miami, FL.

What Is In It For You

Salary: $55,000-65,000 Depending on Aviation experience.

Position Type: Permanent - Full-time

Schedule: Remote hours and some office hours every month.

A Day In The Life of a Flight Coordinator Associate

As the Flight Coordinator Associate with a strong background in aviation logistics and coordination, your primary responsibility in this role includes ensuring the smooth and efficient operations of all booked trips. You should have experience as an Air Traffic Control Specialist and a keen understanding of aviation logistics.

Requirements

  • Arrange fuel releases for all booked trips, considering flight duration and destination.
  • Coordinate aircraft stocking and cleaning to maintain passenger comfort and safety.
  • Ensure all logistical planning is in place for each flight, including catering and ground handling.
  • Verify that all aspects of ground handling, deicing, fuel availability, landing/departure slots, and landing/overfly permits are in order before releasing a flight.
  • Maintain close communication with the flight crew while on duty and during flights, addressing their needs and concerns promptly.
  • Coordinate with arrival/departure liaisons to facilitate a smooth transition at airports.
  • Manage crew travel arrangements, including hotel bookings and ground transportation.
  • Coordinate crew airfare travel for rotations, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
  • Obtain approval for flight releases from dispatch, ensuring that flights adhere to safety and regulatory standards.
  • Monitor flight status from origin to destination, identifying potential delays and taking necessary actions to minimize disruptions.
  • Address any delays due to scheduling, crew legality, or maintenance issues, promptly informing relevant personnel.
  • Manage crew logistics, including ground transportation and hotel accommodations, to ensure their well-being during layovers.
  • Review, prepare, and submit fuel planning to optimize flight operations.

Experience Requirements:

  • Applicants for this role must have prior or recent experience as an Air Traffic Control Specialist, providing them with a solid understanding of aviation operations and logistics.
  • At least 5 years of Air Traffic Control.
  • FAA Dispatcher License is a plus.
