We are searching for a charismatic, energetic, and passionate pediatric Speech Language Pathologist to join our dynamic team and make a lasting impression on the lives of the children and families we serve.
SpeechWorks, located in Dayton Beach, Florida, is searching for a Full-Time W2 Physical Therapist(PT) looking to make a difference. We are looking for therapists willing to serve in Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care Centers (PPECC) and special needs schools as well as positions for Early Steps, home, preschool and teletherapy visits. After school outpatient clinic visits are also available.
Physical Therapist (PT) Requirements:
- Florida Physical Therapist License, and
- Passion for creating change in the lives of children and their families.

PHYSICAL THERAPIST SCHEDULE:
- One day a week at our Daytona Beach, Orange City, Ormond Beach, Palm Coast and Port Orange locations
- Mon-Fri 8:30 am to 6:30 pm - Saturday appointments available
WHO WE ARE
As a Speech Works therapist, you will emphasize communication with families, caregivers, and other professionals who care for the child. Ongoing assessments and re-evaluations will measure the child's progress toward individual goals. Families and caregivers are encouraged to participate actively in the intervention process and are given strategies and exercises to use between visits to promote ongoing progress.
Speech Works is a leading pediatric clinic in various Florida's East Coast counties and provides Early steps care in the clinic, home, and daycare settings. Speech Works participates with North Beaches and Space Coast Early Steps, which cover Brevard, Flagler, and Volusia counties.
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A Physical Therapist:
As a Physical Therapist, you will provide quality services to a full caseload of children from birth to 21 years old. As a Physical Therapist, you will work with Kids with a broad spectrum of abilities. This would include setting up equipment, organizing paperwork, and organizing fun activities to help get the most out of your treatments. Along with completing the following daily tasks:
- Enjoy creative freedom to produce your activities for sessions or utilize materials we already have in place.
- Enjoy meeting with clients and their families while providing updates on progress, goals, and ways to continue progress throughout the week while at home.
- Be encouraged to engage with the Kiddos you treat daily.
- Assist with various responsibilities, like charting and returning calls.
- Complete paperwork and chart notes on your clients.
- Assist with anything your co-workers if they need help. Remember, teamwork makes the dream work!
- Build lasting relationships with your co-workers.
