Outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapist

NovaCare Rehabilitation's large multidisciplinary team of clinicians is seeking an additional full-time Physical Therapist for our outpatient orthopedic center. Our Wilmington location is a Sports Center of Excellence! It is not just sports with us, but a true bisection of outpatient to include; neuro, vestibular, concussion, lymphedema, oncology (ReVital), pelvic health, functional capacity evaluations (FCEs), ACL, and fall prevention as additional specialty services offered. We can consider new graduate Physical Therapists and experienced Physical Therapists alike. Our stability, network, and resources will help all PTs reach their next clinical and/or professional goal. Our continuing education program is still nationally unmatched offering the most in-person and online CEUs, paid certifications, specialty groups, and more.
This is a full-time weekday treating schedule to include TWO evenings until 7 pm with the last patient scheduled an hour before close. We can consider alternative schedules such as three 10's and two 5's. NO WEEKENDS.

Responsibilities- Understand appropriate state practice acts and adhere to the laws which govern how Physical Therapists may practice and whom Physical Therapists may supervise.
- Complete and maintain all corporate & clinical services required training and maintain compliance with state/local/federal regulations.
- Evaluate, treat, and direct treatment for patients for whom physical therapy is medically necessary and document this need clearly.
- Maintain open and respectful communication with co-workers, physicians, patients, family members, and third-party payors at all times.
- Attend and/or participate in facility meetings as directed by the center manager.
- Must be a graduate of an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) accredited school of physical therapy
- Valid State Physical Therapy License/ Registration REQUIRED to start
- Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required.
