HCA Solutions is seeking a Therapist III (DPT/PT) for the Lunenburg Correctional Center in Victoria, VA!

This is a contracted, part-time position with long term care placement.

Facility is open to having 1 Therapist III (DPT/PT) to provide services at multiple sites, as listed below -

• Indian Creek Correctional Center, Chesapeake, VA - 8 hours per week
• St. Brides Correctional Center, Chesapeake, VA - 8 hours per week
• Deerfield Correctional Center, Capron, VA - 24 hours per week
• Greensville Correctional Center, Jarratt, VA - 16 hours per week
• Augusta Correctional Center, Craigsville, VA - 8 hours per week
• Lunenburg Correctional Center, Victoria, VA - 24 hours per week

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate therapist to join our team. As a Therapist DPT/PT, you will be responsible for providing physical therapy services to patients with various medical conditions and injuries. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to help patients achieve their health goals.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct evaluations and create treatment plans for patients with various medical conditions and injuries

- Implement treatment plans using a variety of physical therapy techniques and modalities

- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed

- Educate patients on exercises and techniques they can do at home to aid in their recovery

- Communicate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care for patients

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

Requirements:

- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Bachelor/Master's in Physical Therapy (PT) degree

- Current state license to practice physical therapy

- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology

- Experience working with patients with various medical conditions and injuries

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Therapist Requirements:

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Bachelor/Master's in Physical Therapy (PT) degree
• Current state license to practice physical therapy
• Proof of all vaccines, including COVID-19
• CPR/BLS
• Ability to pass a VA Criminal Background check
• Ability to pass a 10-panel drug screening
• Additional facility paperwork will be required, if chosen for the position
