• Masters Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
•  South Dakota license 
• Experience working with children or working in a public school environment

• Conduct screenings, progress assessments, and evaluations.
• Interpret assessment findings for parents, students, teachers, and staff.
•  Lead Individual Education Plan (IEP) meetings following District protocols.
•  Maintain Special Education records as per District guidelines.
•  Collaborate with the IEP Team to identify and prioritize goals and objectives.
•  Support students in achieving academic and functional goals.
•  Recommend tools, strategies, and equipment to enhance student learning.
•  Demonstrate and trial recommended tools and strategies for integration into student routines.
•  Provide training to teachers and staff on techniques for supporting physical development.
•  Develop positioning plans to facilitate student access and participation in classroom settings.
•  Oversee the use of Assistive/Adaptive equipment for student, teacher, and staff safety.
•  Encourage inclusive and safe participation among the student's peers.
•  Any other duties as assigned.
