Physical Therapist Assistant

Responsibilities:
- Assist the Physical Therapist in providing patient care and treatment plans
- Implement therapeutic exercises and modalities under the guidance of the Physical Therapist
- Monitor and document patient progress and report any changes to the Physical Therapist
- Educate patients on proper techniques for exercises and activities
- Assist with patient transfers, positioning, and mobility
- Maintain a clean and organized treatment area

Qualifications:
- Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Valid license or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Experience in occupational health or acute care settings is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Skills:
- Proficient in providing patient care and implementing treatment plans
- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology to assist with therapeutic exercises
- Familiarity with trigger point therapy techniques for pain management
- Understanding of medical terminology to communicate effectively with healthcare professionals
- Experience working in a hospital or acute care setting is a plus
