Job Summary
We are seeking a New York State Licensed Physical Therapist to join our successful Holistic Wellness Center. As a Physical Therapist, you will tailor treatments to your patient's individual needs and health goals.
The successful candidate provides and directs physical therapy services to clients & patients, including assessment, treatment, program planning, and implementation, and completes related documentation and communication. They also possess a deep knowledge of human anatomy and the musculoskeletal system and work well as part of a holistic wellness team.
We are also open to candidates who own their practice and would like to collaborate in developing a premier destination location in Commack with like-minded professionals in the holistic healthcare industry.
Physical Therapist Daily Duties
Compensation is determined case-by-case and is dependent on each individual's contract. The Vitality Center houses a number of Practitioners who have their own businesses within the umbrella of The Vitality Center.
This position is for an individual who is content with working in a friendly, and supportive environment with great dedication and focus to building their own patient base within The Vitality Center, and is an excellent opportunity for professional growth.

Physical Therapist Daily Duties
- Perform 35+ consecutive sessions weekly
- Conduct assessments and/or evaluations
- Provide progress updates
- Provide treatment in accordance with established standards of practice, department procedures, and productivity standards.
- Maintain a safe and clean workspace, and environment
- Consistently demonstrates sound judgment in the evaluation, planning, implementation, and follow-up of client therapy programs
- Holds accountability and a high level of quality of care and professionalism, when working with clients
- Maintains mutually respectful and positive relationships & rapport with colleagues, clients, family members, staff, administration, and the Director of The Vitality Center
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist (PT) Program
- Holds Current & Valid NYS license and liability insurance to practice physical therapy
- CPR Certification
- Must adhere to local and state licensing laws
- Sensory Integration Experience a PLUS
- Is a Team Player
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
- Ready to build their calendar successfully together
- Takes initiative on promos, and packages
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strongly service oriented with the ability to communicate effectively with clients in a one-on-one setting
- High level of ethics and integrity
- A passion for helping people feel and function their best
- Participation in talks, and other forms of marketing to build your patient community.
