Physical Therapist

Acute Medical is seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team in Wayne, NJ.

3 Month contract with possible extension

03/25/24 to 06/29/24

8:00 AM-4:30 PM

As a Physical Therapist, you will work with patients to help them regain movement and manage pain. Your expertise in physiology, anatomy, and patient care will be essential in providing high-quality therapy services.

Responsibilities

- Evaluate patients' conditions and develop personalized treatment plans

- Administer therapeutic exercises and activities to improve mobility and strength

- Utilize manual therapy techniques such as trigger point therapy to relieve pain and improve function

- Educate patients and their families on proper techniques for at-home exercises and self-care

- Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient evaluations, progress notes, and treatment plans

Qualifications

- Valid NJ licensure as a Physical Therapist

- In-depth knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology

- Experience working in a hospital or acute care setting is preferred

- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team members
