Physical Security Shift Supervisor (On-Site)

In addition to understanding the duties of the Lead Security Coordinator, the Security Shift Supervisor has the responsibility as the first line supervisory contact for Associates, subordinates, vendors, and contract security officers. During the appointed shift, directly responsible for overall supervision the security staff in the execution of its duties.

These duties include, but are not limited to, the monitoring and controlling of access into any Broadridge facility or sensitive/critical area within the facility, the safety of assigned Associates and guests as well as ensuring the assigned sites are secured via physical or electronic tours. One will be responsible for the general administration of the Security Console Room (central monitoring station) to include but not limited to the closed-circuit television (CCTV) system, the access control system (ACS), and the BMS/HVAC systems.

You are also responsible for ensuring sites are following relevant audits, client audits, policies & procedures, and contractual obligations. Initiate remediation and complete initial investigations for any incidents that occur. Responsible for notification to the proper organizational representatives of incidents and procedural breaches in security policies. Responsible for maintaining all security documentation and acting as a training officer for assigned subordinates, both proprietary staff and contract security staff. In addition, when required, this role will assume the duties of the Security Site Manager and complete any additional directives put forth by the Corporate Security Management Team. This is an on-site role that will be assigned to a Broadridge location where you will work 100% of the time.

In addition to understanding the responsibilities of the Lead Coordinator, the Security Shift Supervisor has the following additional obligations:

• Supervises staff in performance of work and provides guidance in the resolution of problems.
• Assigns work to meet completion dates in accordance with schedules fixed by higher supervision and subject to higher approval.
• Applies and assures employees adhere to established organization procedures, rules and regulations.
• Conducts performance evaluations for assigned staff.
• Responsible for ensuring that guard inspections and reliefs are conducted in accordance with the service contract.
• Makes periodic inspections of assigned facilities and personnel to ensure compliance with current Safety and Security policies and procedures.
• Investigates any complaints from Associates or staff.
• Able to draft policies and procedures for upper management review and implementation.
• Responsible for all activities of the shift.
• Responsible for all associate administration, such as counseling and scheduling.
• Run any shift without supervisory presence.
• Able to work day shift from 08:00 to 16:00, Monday through Friday. Shift is subject to change based on coverage and department needs. Must have flexibility.
• Must be able to travel and perform other related duties and functions as assigned by management.

Salary range $50-60k. Bonus Eligible.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
