Physical Management Instructor And Rbt

Stepping Stones Behavioral Solutions, LLC, a leading provider of therapeutic services for individuals with developmental disabilities and Autism Spectrum Disorder is seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Management Trainer to join our team. This individual will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our clients by training Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) in safe and therapeutic physical holds.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct training sessions for RBTs on safe and effective Physical Management techniques in accordance with the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
• Provide hands-on instruction and demonstrations on various physical holds and restraint techniques, emphasizing safety, dignity, and respect for the individual.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines, including those set forth by the Marcus Crisis Prevention Program (MCPP).
• Develop and update training materials, manuals, and resources to support ongoing education and skill development for RBTs.
• Collaborate with the clinical team to assess the needs of clients and tailor training programs accordingly.
• Monitor and evaluate RBT performance during training sessions, providing constructive feedback and support as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of training attendance, certification status, and competency assessments for all RBTs.
• Stay informed about best practices and advancements in Physical Management techniques and incorporate them into training programs as appropriate.
• Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and professional development activities as required.

• When there is not a MCPP course, the instructor will engage in RBT responsibilites

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
