Photographic Print Sort / Product Assembly - Full Time with Benefits

McKenna, a locally owned and rapidly growing Photographic Printing company, is hiring for a light-manufacturing production worker who will assemble various photographic products designed for the professional photographer market. Our products are mainly hand-crafted using various hand tools with a few larger machines for cutting and pressing.

Responsibilities include:

• organizing prints by order
• assembling photo products including mounting prints on backings, making buttons & keychains, and making various other small items
• working with small hand tools
• trimming photos
• performing quality checks and counts
• packaging products
• reading, understanding, and following order forms, notes, and production procedures
• training and moving to all production areas as volume dictates including album making and dye sublimation
• following safety procedures
• maintaining a clean and organized work area.

Hours are weekdays and day time (first shift) hours. Schedule generally starts around 7:00 am and hours per day will fluctuate with order volume. An average day is 6 to 8 hours per day. Must be available during our seasonal peaks for overtime.

Successful candidates will have the following qualifications:

• ability to effectively use software systems (with training)
• enjoy being part of a fast-paced environment
• be a reliable and punctual team player with a positive and professional attitude
• highly detail oriented and above average fine motor skills
• have a strong math aptitude
• ability to stand, bend, and walk around for at least 8 hours per day
• no previous experience necessary but experience in photography or printing a plus
