Photo Studio Stylist

Overview:
The Photo Studio Stylist will be responsible for crafting and maintaining our styling standards across flat, mannequin, and on-model photography and overseeing the coordination and preparation of photo shoots, including booking models and ensuring their correct dressing and styling during the shoots.
Key Accountabilities:

• Develop and maintain our styling standards for flat, mannequin, and on-model photography, ensuring consistency and adherence to our brand's visual identity
• Train both local and overseas studios to ensure their understanding of our e-commerce imagery standards and how to best execute to achieve desired results
• Collaborate with modeling agencies and manage the booking of models for various photo shoots, ensuring a diverse and representative selection
• Curate and arrange wardrobe options for models to match the desired look for each shoot. Ensure that clothing and accessories are well-maintained, and handle any necessary alterations or repairs
• Be present during photo shoots to oversee and adjust models' clothing, accessories, and styling as needed to maintain the desired aesthetic
• Act as the liaison between the photography team and models, ensuring clear and effective communication regarding styling preferences and objectives for each shoot
• Stay updated on the latest fashion trends, styling techniques, and industry developments to bring fresh and innovative ideas to the team
• Collaborate with photographers, makeup artists, and other team members to create a cohesive visual concept for each shoot
• Review and provide feedback on images to ensure they meet the established styling standards, offering suggestions for improvement as necessary
• Keep track of styling equipment, props, and supplies, ensuring they are well-maintained and readily available for each shoot
• Maintain an organized inventory of clothing, accessories, and styling items, making recommendations for replenishment when necessary
• Special projects as assigned

Requirements
Required Skills/Abilities/Education:

• Proven experience in Photo Studio styling with a strong portfolio showcasing your work
• Proficiency in clothing and accessory selection, coordination, and styling for various types of photography
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team
• A keen eye for detail, aesthetics, and an understanding of fashion trends
• Experience in booking models for photo shoots and coordinating their wardrobe and styling
• Familiarity with fashion industry practices and trends
• Knowledge of image editing software, such as Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom (a plus)
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced studio environment

Salary Description
$50,000 - $65,000 per year
