Phlebotomist Ft Or Pt

May-Grant OB/GYN has an Immediate opening in our Level III Lab for a FT or PT Phlebotomist.

Selected candidate will need to possess the following qualifications/skills:

• Minimum of 6 months of experience (skills in blood draws and injections necessary)
• Proficient EMR/PC skills
• Ability to work independently, a must
• Current CPR certification, a must
• Proficient interpersonal skills

Responsibilities include:

• Proper specimen collection & processing both in-house and reference lab according to insurance and specimen requirements.
• Giving injections
• Data entry of all orders

Work schedule:

Candidate must have the ability to start some days at 6:30am. The primary schedule is to be determined, but includes mostly day shift hours, and a Saturday morning rotation. Flexibility in the work schedule is a must to help cover for department vacations and/or call offs. All work schedules are based on the needs of the practice.
