Serves patients by identifying the best method for retrieving blood samples and other specimens, preparing specimens for laboratory testing, and performing screening procedures.
Primary responsibilities:
- Drawing patient blood and logging results
- Prepare specimens for pick up by reference labs
- Train students and interns to perform phlebotomy tasks
- Perform CLIA Waived and laboratory tests
- Other LAB duties as assigned

- Required to display strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Must be comfortable with pediatric and geriatric patients
- Ability to successfully draw blood from patients with minimal or no complications
