Beginning in 1879, we are Linn County's First Children's Human Services agency. We are always evolving to serve the needs of our community. Our programs focus on prevention, treatment and outreach and serve children and teens of all ages. As a non-profit organization, Tanager is proud to support more than 4,000 children per year.

Job Details

The Director of Philanthropy is responsible for developing and overseeing the Planned Giving and Major Gift initiatives for the organization.  Efforts will be focused on continued growth of the Tanager foundation through planned gifts and major gifts for operations. These efforts include securing major gifts of $10,000 and above, providing presentations, communicating planned gift benefits and types and working in collaboration with the Department of Advancement to align efforts and set goals to identify and cultivate donors. This position may require meetings before or after typical work hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Business or a related field.
• Any equivalent combination of education, experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work.
