Summary of Job Function: Functions as a care partner with the Registered Nurse to provide nursing care to a diagnostically/developmentally specific patient population; under supervision of the Registered Nurse, the MHA provides therapeutic interventions and treatments. Also responsible for unit support activities and clerical/administrative functions as directed. Is responsible for reporting identified safety issues such as hazardous environments (i.e. damaged floors/walls/ceiling tiles/unsecured areas) and medical errors, etc.
Summary of Job Function:
Pharmacy technician: The Pharmacy Technician assists in the provision of pharmaceutical services under the direct supervision of the Registered Pharmacist by performing the technical, clerical, and manipulative tasks involved in dispensing, preparing, and distributing all medications and pharmaceutical products for all patient age groups and maintaining statistical records,
The position is also responsible for identifying and reporting hazardous environments or safety issues and medical errors to appropriate personnel,
The position is also responsible for any other assigned tasks, as appropriate,
Job Requirements/Education:
New Jersey registered or registration eligible,
One year previous pharmacy experience in hospital setting preferred, and or Pharmacy Technician training course,
PTCB certification preferred.
