Pharmacy Technician

We are currently staffing for a full-time Pharmacy Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong aptitude for math and be able to ensure the safe handling of medications and adhere to federal guidelines for controlled substances. The Pharmacy Technician will assist in preparing medications as needed and will be responsible for counting pills, checking expiration dates and keeping accurate records of inventory.

Responsibilities:

• Fill prescriptions.
• Verify prescriptions.
• Communicate with patients and doctors.
• Work with a team.
• Explain prescription drugs to patients.
• Analyze data.
• Use computers and other technology to administer prescription drugs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour

Experience:

• Pharmacy technician experience: 3 years (Preferred)
• Pharmacy technician: 1 year (Preferred)
