The Pharmacy Technician I assists the pharmacists to perform routine duties at the health center pharmacy such as packaging, billing, repetitive or other nondiscretionary tasks, vaccine administration (if qualified), etc.
Reports to: Director of Pharmacy Services
Qualifications:
1.High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Certificate.
2.Must be registered with the California Board of Pharmacy as set forth in Section 4202 of the 1998 California Board of Pharmacy Rules and Regulations, possess a clear and active Pharmacy Technician license.
3.Some pharmacy related experience preferred.
4.Computer skills in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, etc.), electronic health record systems, and database systems.
5.Typing/data entry skills sufficient to meet production requirements.
6.Fluency in English and Spanish (speaks, translate, read and write).
