Pharmacy Technician

Pharmacy technicians are an integral part of our caring team. Community Pharmacy of Randolph is seeking a highly motivated individual for a career as a Pharmacy Technician. The technician will assist the pharmacist by processing prescription orders, filling medications, maintaining drug inventory and providing exceptional customer service as well as performing other assigned duties. This position requires someone who is energetic, friendly, driven, and able to multitask in a fast-paced work environment.

Strong communication skills, computers skills and customer service experience preferred but not required. Knowledge of basic medical terminology a plus. Previous experience as a technician not necessary but always welcome.

Job Highlights and physical demands:

· Work in a fast-paced environment

· Maintain a high level of customer service while continuously shifting priorities

· Read, input and fill prescriptions accurately according to a prescriber’s instructions.

· Operate various pharmacy computer systems

· Answer multiple telephone lines in a courteous and professional manner

· Handle multiple tasks accurately

· Assist in maintaining drug inventory

· Review invoices and complete daily sales paperwork

· Remain upright on the feet, particularly for sustained periods of time

· Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly for moving from one work area to another

Position is full-time 30-40 hours per week; Monday through Friday and rotating weekends.
