SalaryOur store is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist the Pharmacists with prescription management and communicating with physicians’ offices about patient medications. The successful candidate for this role will communicate with patients over the phone and in-store to address customer service issues and field questions about medications. Additionally, we are seeking an individual who has a dynamic personality and wellness to market compounding pharmacy as well.
- Enter and maintain prescription data using our computer system
- Answer incoming phone calls and field patient questions
- Contact/visiting doctor’s offices or hospitals to clarify prescription/develop a triad of patient care
- Identifying compounding opportunities
- Disburse completed and confirmed prescriptions to patients
- Answer patient questions and address customer service issues when they arise
- Assist the pharmacist with maintaining the ongoing medication inventory and place medication orders when instructed
Requirements:
- 2 or more years of Pharmacy experience
- Virginia or Nationally certified
- Proficient in typing prescriptions
- Ability to lift 30 lbs and be on feet throughout the day
Eligible for sign on bonus after 90 day review.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Education:
- High school or equivalent (Required)
Experience:
- Pharmacy technician experience: 2 years (Required)
