Location: FL-ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, 370-774 NORTHLAKE BLVD NORTHLAKE BLVD. Elevance Health operates in a Hybrid Workforce Strategy, providing various levels of flexibility while also ensuring that associates have opportunities to connect in-person. Unless in a designated virtual-eligible role and specified as primarily virtual by the hiring manager, associates are required to work at an Elevance Health location at least once per week, and potentially several times per week. Specific requirements and expectations for time onsite will be discussed as part of the hiring process. Candidates must reside within 50 miles or 1-hour commute each way of a relevant Elevance Health location.
Shift: Monday-Friday 9am – 6pm, or 10am – 7pm and occasional weekends.

Responsible for the interpretation and data entry of basic prescriptions, prior authorization processing, and troubleshooting adjudication issues.
How you will make an impact:
- Verifies member information, inputs data for the pharmacists, and manages refill process for REMS program.
- Educates members on pharmacy-based rules related to prescriptions and medication resources or assistance programs, specifically REMS program.
- Provides resolution to grievances and appeals issues.
- Responds to inquiries from physicians, sales team, and members related to formulary and prescription benefits.
- Generates reports relating to rebates, physician utilization, and other ad hoc reports.
Requirements:
- Requires H.S. diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 1 year of pharmacy experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
- Current State of FL Pharmacy Tech.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experience:
- Certification or National Certification
- Experience working in Specialty Pharmacy
- Experience with REMS program
- Experience working in a retail pharmacy.
- Data Entry experience
- Experience with CPR+
- Experience with Enterprise Rx
