Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking a Pharmacy Graduate Intern to join our healthcare team. You will work with a phenomenal team that cares like family and works together in a collaborative manner.

The Pharmacy Graduate Intern performs a broad range of functions normally relegated to a registered pharmacist, under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist. Compounds and dispenses medications, and calculates dosages. Review drug therapy for appropriateness.

Job Requirements:

EDUCATION REQUIRED AND/OR PREFERRED:

· Must be a graduate of an accredited school or college of pharmacy and not yet be licensed in the state in accordance with the requirements set forth by the Florida Board of Pharmacy.

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:

· Florida Pharmacy Intern License, as per State requirements, in good standing with the Florida Board of Pharmacy required.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED OR PREFERRED:

· 1 year of hospital experience preferred
