Pharmacy Clerk

River Road Health Mart Pharmacy is seeking to add a Full time Pharmacy Clerk to our retail pharmacy team. Applicant must be willing to work at both pharmacy locations, Eugene and Creswell.

This position earns a competitive starting wage of $18.00 hour depending on experience. We provide excellent benefits, including health insurance, a 401 (K), with up to a 3.5% match, paid time off (PTO), and prescriptions benefits.

Clerk functions:

Preparing and managing the daily deliveries which may include driving the company car to deliver if needed.

Greet customers and provide them with prompt, courteous service and assistance. This includes the customers at the drive-up window and the walk-in customers.

Accurately ring the sale of prescriptions, OTC products, gift items and other services the pharmacy offers.

Answer the phone in an upbeat, friendly and efficient manner.

Maintain a clean, neat, organized and safe work environment.

Ability to price items accurately according to company policy

Exhibit the utmost professionalism and confidentiality when dealing with patients and their health information.

Minor cleaning duties

Receive prescriptions, over the counter items and gift items including processing the orders and stocking.

Track inventory

Fill and Order supplies as needed

Create invoices

Other duties, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice.

Qualifications:

Ability to pay meticulous attention to detail.

Ability to perform basic math.

Ability to stand, bend, twist, reach, push pull and regularly lift 25 pounds., and occasionally lift 50 pounds.

Ability to interact with customers in a friendly and helpful way.

Must preserve confidentiality of information.

Must comply with all company policies and procedures.

Must have a valid Driver's License and make deliveries in company vehicle as needed.

Ability to proficiently use ALL required computer hardware and software.
