Your Role With Us:
- Provide excellent customer service and triage questions, concerns, or requests to appropriate licensed staff (Pharmacy Technicians, Pharmacy Interns, or Pharmacists)
- Complete cash register transactions including collect payments from patients in person from throughout the hospital or over the phone.
- Manages incoming and outgoing phone calls as needed; including accepting payments over the phone.
- Manages over the counter (OTC) products including inventory receiving, stocking, rotating stock, price labeling, and establishing/maintaining par levels.
- Places drug stock orders with pharmaceutical supplier. Receives, unpacks, and stocks shelves with orders.
- Delivery of patient medications and supplies to patients throughout the hospital campus.
- Support Pharmacy retail team to facilitate customer checkout process.
- File and organize department documents such as invoices, prescription hard copies, patient signature logs, etc.
- Organize prescriptions ready for customer pickup.

Background/Expertise:
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent preferred.
- Minimum of (2) years of experience in a customer service environment, preferably within retail pharmacy.
- Must be able to safely and routinely lift and move cases of inventory weighing up to 30lbs.
- Must be able to work well with others as a member of the healthcare team to accomplish the tasks needed at appropriate times.
- Must be able to follow instruction from pharmacy staff and communicate with customers; Knowledge of Microsoft Suite and clerking skills required.
- Willingness to accept new tasks as assigned.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
