Pharmacy Automation Specialist (Full Time, La Crosse) (Jr-19874)

What's Available:

• 1.0 FTE (40 hours/week)
• Shift: Days 7:30AM– 4:00PM, will be rotated on-call between the 3 PAS. (on-call after their shift ends during week thru night until 7:30AM and 24 hours on weekends)
• When on-call, will need to be no more than 1 hour away incase need to come troubleshoot Pyxis in-person.
• Department: Hospital Pharmacy (outside of Central Pharmacy)
• Location: La Crosse, WI

Schedule Example:

• 7:30AM - 4:00PM, Monday – Friday
• Windows Patching schedules could be working evenings hours 2:00PM - 10:30PM. Rotate through on-call once trained ~ this could take up to 6-12 months before on-call begins
• Different Pyxis implementation could mean being flexible with working hours as this could require traveling to different affiliate sites.

What you will do:

• Provide LOVE + MEDICINE to our patients through providing the best first/last impressions with top-level customer service.
• Partner with a team of providers, medical professionals, and managers who are here to support your success and that of our patients in their health journeys.

What you need:

• High School Diploma or equivalency and completion of an Accredited Pharmacy Technician Program or equivalent pharmacy technician experience
• 2 years of related healthcare experience in a general support or service area, requiring basic pharmacy knowledge and skills.
• Must be registered with the Wisconsin Dept. of Safety & Professional Services (WIRPHT)
• Certified Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPHT)
• Registered with the Minnesota Board of Pharmacy (MNRPHT) within 3 months of hire
• Registered with the Iowa Board of Pharmacy (IARPHT) within 3 months of hire
