Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manages the workflow processes which may include pharmacist verification and labeling/packaging
- Reviews medication orders and evaluates their appropriateness and completeness
- Complies with federal and local pharmacy laws as regulated by the Illinois State Boards of Pharmacy, the Drug Enforcement Administration, and the Food and Drug Administration.
- Performs all job duties with a friendly, positive and team-oriented approach
- Maintains required licenses or certifications in good standing
- Complies with all company policies, procedures, rules and standards
- All other duties as assigned by Pharmacist-in-Charge
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Minimum one year experience in a retail or long-term care pharmacy; 3 years preferred
- Must possess a Illinois State Board of Pharmacy Pharmacist License
- Order Entry experience required
- Minimal typing speed of 40WPM preferred
- Medical Records experience preferred
- Experience with QS1, FrameworkLTC and/or DocuTrack preferred
- Positive personality who is able to work well within a team
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Can de-escalate and troubleshoot problems within the pharmacy

Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- On call
- Weekends as needed
License/Certification:
- Licensed Pharmacist (Required)

- Suite 106 Morton Grove, IL 60053: Relocate before starting work (Required)
